A New Way of Seeing Memory Loss & Travelling Together on Roads to Wellbeing

An engaging and informative look at the power of pictures to offer a new view of memory loss.

When we look closely at a picture beyond its surface, we can see layers of story, expression and meaning.

Participation in the arts is a door to dive below the surface and unlock the spark. At museum, cinema, nature space, or even right in your own home, pathways to express, connect and reclaim the joy of shared discovery are possible for living fully in the moment with memory loss. In this workshop we'll explore new creative connections that empower voice and wellbeing, inviting us to see the humanity of whole persons beyond diagnosis or disability, Slow art conversations, poems to paintings, materials exploration workshops- we'll look at an array of creative experiences where moments of flourishing & wellbeing are reclaimed and celebrated.
