Thursday, May 47:00—9:00 PMSturtz Meeting Room A+BReuben Hoar Library35 Shattuck Street, Littleton, MA, 01460

Knowledge can empower individuals to make cultural change. With 1 in 5 Gen Z individuals

identifying as LGBTQ+, it is imperative that the community understand the foundational principles of

gender, sexuality, and allyship. This workshop encourages individuals at all levels of understanding to

learn about what it means to be LGBTQ+ and how to be stronger allies so our entire community feels

welcome to be their authentic selves.

During this workshop, participants will:

● Build foundational knowledge of gender and sexuality theory, inclusive language, and trans/nonconforming identities

● Review the elements of authentic allyship for LGBTQ+ community members, including those

who are questioning or coming out, to work towards authentic inclusion for people of all

genders and sexualities

● Develop an understanding of how sexual identity and gender identity combine with other

dimensions of diversity and identity to shape the unique experiences of LGBTQ+ individuals
