Welcome to the Anime & Manga Book Club! In this club, we read the first three volumes of a manga and then meet to talk about them and then watch the first three episodes of the anime.

For our first meeting, we're starting with one of the undisputed classics of the 21st century: Fullmetal Alchemist! Edward and Alphonse Elric are talented young alchemists in service to the nation of Amestris. They're looking for a mythical artifact, the legendary Philosopher's Stone, while fulfilling their duties to the state. But they have another reason to seek the stone—a dark, terrible, and personal one. And they might be willing to pay any price to get it...

Copies of the manga will be available to pick up at the circulation desk on the main floor starting on June 26th. They are first-come, first-served. 

Sign-ups are optional but encouraged! This is a Teen Summer Reading event open to teens ages 13+.
