The Littleton Country Gardeners are holding a special, open to the public, Saturday meeting on May 18th at 10am at the Reuben Hoar Library featuring Dr Robert Gegear, founder of the Beecology Project, focusing on native bees at-risk for extinction due to pesticides and habitat loss. Native bees evolved with native plants in a complex relationship of codependency which has been disrupted by our gardens full of exotic plants. Come learn how and why you can help restore the biodiversity of the native plant-pollinator ecosystem.
